Best Service Ever

Dr. Amason has been my dentist since the late 1980’s when he joined Dr. Horne’s practice. At that time, I had a mouth full of old amalgam fillings that needed replacing. Dr. Amason gave me my first shot of Novocain where I did not feel the needle and had absolutely no discomfort. Lee recently performed my first root canal and crown procedure. I had heard many horror stories about how painful the procedure could be. Dr. Amason had me on my way in no time and I found the root canal no more painful than a routine filling. After any visit to his office Dr. Amason had never failed to place a follow up call to me in the evening to ensure I was in no pain. That kind of dedication is what I want for my family’s dentist!

TMJ Therapy Has Helped So Much

I had been lying on a heating pad crying every afternoon for almost a year. I had horrible headaches, neck and facial pain. I then started waking up with my front teeth being chipped off. My dentist told me about Dr. Amason. She said she had heard some really good things about him. I quickly made an appointment with him. Dr. Amason diagnosed the problem as TMJ. He made a cast mount of my teeth to show how my jaw was moving. Dr. Amason then made a splint for me to wear. After three adjustments, I am now pain free. I cannot thank Dr. Amason enough. He has helped me to live a pain free life again. Dr. Amason and his staff are the more caring, friendly and sweetest people I have ever met in a doctor’s office. Getting My Implant was a Great Decision

Recently I chose to have a dental implant to replace a tooth that had been damaged two decades earlier. Dr. Amason advised me that the tooth was dying and I need to consider a procedure to fix it. I chose the dental implant over a bridge even though the implant was much longer process and not covered by insurance.

A dental implant is performed in collaboration between the dentist and an oral surgeon. Both Dr. Amason and Dr. Vandewater sat down with me to answer all questions that I had about the implant vs. the bridge. Both doctors discussed pros and cons of my choices and neither doctor tried to persuade me one way or the other.

Prior to my implant, my tooth was so sensitive to pressure that I had to avoid chewing with that tooth and always advised dental hygienists to be careful cleaning the area. Since the implant, I no longer have sensitivity. My implant is as strong as the rest of my teeth and I sincerely feel that the additional time and cost were well worth it.

I am very grateful for the professional care that I received, the choice that I made and the outcome. I strongly recommend that anyone who faces the same situation to seriously consider the dental implant. It definitely worked for me!

My Smile has Never Looked this Great

For most of my life, my teeth have been quite unsightly, due to grinding, chipping and overbite. I was very self-conscious about people seeing my teeth, which led to a very subdued smile, and left me looking unhappy even when I was not.

Then Dr. J. Lee Amason offered to fix my teeth, and did he fix them! With his dedicated and no-nonsense approach, my teeth would make a movie star proud. Who would have thought a great set of teeth could improve someone’s outlook on life this much? Well, it did for me, and I’m forever indebted to my parrot-head buddy, Dr. Amason.

Thank You So Much

I just wanted to drop you a line to let you know how much my twins, Amy and Amanda, enjoyed their visit to the dentist. You and your staff made them feel safe and secure which made the experience one that they can fall back on every time they need a checkup. In fact, when I came in yesterday they wanted to come with me where they could have their teeth checked again! If we all could have the enthusiasm of a five-year-old.

Thank you for getting them started off to a great outlook on going to the dentist. I feel that you have succeeded in one of the most important tasks of your field by making children feel that they are safe while sitting in your chair.
